2 Cor 1:6-11
6 If we are afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation; and if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which you experience when you patiently endure the same sufferings that we suffer. 7 Our hope for you is unshaken, for we know that as you share in our sufferings, you will also share in our comfort.
8 For we do not want you to be ignorant, brothers, [1] of the affliction we experienced in Asia. For we were so utterly burdened beyond our strength that we despaired of life itself. 9 Indeed, we felt that we had received the sentence of death. But that was to make us rely not on ourselves but on God who raises the dead. 10 He delivered us from such a deadly peril, and he will deliver us. On him we have set our hope that he will deliver us again. 11 You also must help us by prayer, so that many will give thanks on our behalf for the blessing granted us through the prayers of many.
The key points are:
1. That which you must face - sufferings is ineveitable (v6)
2. That which you must know - that we serve a God who is meriful (v7)
3. That which you must want - to do the will of God (v8)
4. That which you must do - to put your trust in God (v9)
5. That which you must hold fast - to the promises of God (v10)
During a bad day or a situation, remember God has a plan, as witness by Pastor Edmond's testimony on BKE when his car broke down.

In the same way, I pray for Rachael, as she prepares her lessons. Yes, tough, but Lord, you know the plans for her. That the suffering and discomfort are part and parcel of your plan and of course, I pray that Rachael will comes out well and be strengthened by the process. Help her, Lord.
In the same way, I pray for myself - Isa 43: 19 Behold, I am doing a new thing;now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.
I want to claim this promise, that even I step out and enter a dry and unknown place, the Lord, my God will create a roadway in the wilderness and river in the desert. That the day will come and when I look back, I will remember the path and the trail that the Lord has prepared for me and my family.
